Velvet for winter 2026–27: how to wear it, the Caramì way

The first thing you notice is the light. On velvet, colour never stands still: it becomes deep, then luminous, following folds and movement. This is where our autumn–winter 2026–27 selection begins.

The reading of the runway collections by Moda Pretty Classy Stylish suggests directions that feel close to us: precious surfaces, intense colours, fluid silhouettes and luminous details. We interpret these ideas through pieces already part of the Caramì world, to build a personal, everyday wardrobe.

1. Let the fabric lead

When a material has character, a few thoughtful choices are enough. Black Star Velvet PantaJazz combine a flared line with subtle reflections: try them with a simple knit and a jacket with clean proportions. Petrol Blue Velvet PantaJazz offer a colour alternative, to wear with navy, grey or a light shade.

2. Rich colour, balanced combinations

A single colour can bring a look together. Fuchsia PantaJazz and the Fuchsia Velvet Top create a bold matching set, balanced with pared-back accessories. For a softer expression, start with Grey Velvet Sports Leggings and the Grey top, adding a soft knit for informal outings.

3. Loungewear joins your wardrobe

Comfort can take an elegant form. The Green Silk Velvet Short Kimono and trousers from the same line bring movement to a luminous surface. The Blue Silk Velvet Shirt, chosen for our cover, can take you from loungewear to an evening look: pair it with clean-cut trousers and let the reflections add depth.

4. Lingerie as a personal choice

Velvet also belongs in the pieces closest to the body. Grey Velvet Brazilian Briefs and the Grey triangle bra without lace offer a pared-back interpretation of a matching set. Choose each piece for your fit: your ideal bra size may differ from your briefs size.

How to choose your velvet

Velvet describes a surface, rather than a single composition. Caramì offers different interpretations: silk velvet loungewear, with viscose and silk, and technical velvets for activewear. Materials, stretch and fit need to be considered design by design. Product pages show composition, details and available sizes; our size guide helps you make a more informed choice.

Our advice: start with a piece you truly want to wear, choose a colour that works with what you own, and add its matching piece if it completes your way of dressing.
